You can now ask Perplexity to generate and edit images by asking questions.

What model is used for image generation?

• The current default model is Gemini 2.0 Flash Experimental. We’ll continue adding the latest models as they become available.

Can I choose what model is used for image generation?

• Yes. You can set your model preference from the Settings menu. Click the gear icon, select Preferences, then choose your preferred Image generation model.

Currently supported: Gemini 2.0 Flash Experimental, FLUX.1, and DALL·E 3.
