Kalaris Therapeutics and AlloVir have completed their merger, forming a new entity under the Kalaris name and trading as KLRS on Nasdaq. The company will focus on advancing TH103, an investigational therapy for retinal diseases, and expects to have sufficient funds to operate into late 2026.12

AlloVir stockholders have voted in favor of merging with Kalaris Therapeutics. The combined company, now named Kalaris Therapeutics, will trade on Nasdaq as KLRS and pursue further development of its lead retinal therapy candidate, TH103, targeting several eye conditions including age-related macular degeneration.34

AlloVir has executed a 1-for-23 reverse stock split ahead of its merger with Kalaris Therapeutics. The new company, Kalaris Therapeutics, aims to strengthen its market position and meet Nasdaq requirements, with a focus on advancing novel retinal disease therapies and improving financial stability.56
