CPS (Polsat Plus Group) reported strong financial and operational results for FY 2024, with group revenues up 4.7% YoY to 14.3 billion PLN and adjusted EBITDA rising 9.6% to 3.3 billion PLN; net profit for the year reached nearly 800 million PLN, up 29% in Q4.
The multiplay strategy in the B2C and B2B segments drove ARPU growth (B2C up 5.2% to 77.4 PLN, B2B up 4.6% to 1,530 PLN) and reduced churn to 7%; the multiplay customer base grew by 2.4% to over 2.5 million, representing 44% of total customers.
The media segment maintained a stable audience share of 22% despite strong competition, with TV advertising revenue growing 4.2% to nearly 1.4 billion PLN and a market share of 28%; the online business (Interia) became the leading internet publisher in Poland.
The green energy segment saw rapid expansion, with installed wind power capacity reaching 150 MW and total renewable capacity at 338 MW by year-end; green energy production grew 53% YoY to over 1 TWh, and segment EBITDA reached 282 million PLN in 2024.
Forward-looking: CPS reaffirmed its strategic goal of achieving approximately 500 million PLN EBITDA from green energy by 2026 (with CapEx 1.1 billion PLN lower than originally planned), expects to double wind capacity with the completion of the Jejuvow wind farm in 2025, and plans to focus on debt reduction after major investments are completed.
