Defiance Hotel, Airline, and Cruise ETF Price & Performance (CRUZ)

The Defiance Hotel, Airline, and Cruise ETF (CRUZ) will be suspended from NYSE Arca trading before April 29, 2025, ahead of its liquidation. Shareholders will receive a pro rata cash distribution. The ETF, which tracks global travel companies, has seen a modest 2.88% return over the past year.12

With assets totaling $22.25 million and a 1.40% dividend yield, the CRUZ ETF is set for liquidation after a period of underperformance, including an 18.25% drop in the last quarter. Investors can expect cash settlements as the fund winds down later this month.34

ETF Series Solutions confirmed that CRUZ will liquidate its assets and distribute cash to shareholders on or about April 29, 2025. Options on CRUZ will transition to cash-only settlement, with the final payout determined by the fund's net assets at liquidation.56
