The Saudi Riyal (SAR) saw an increase in value against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) today, March 15, 2025. In the open market, 1 SAR is now priced at Rs74.71, up by five paisas. Remittances from Saudi expatriates remain a key driver for Pakistan’s foreign reserves.1

The Central Bank of Iran reported varied currency movements as of March 15, 2025. While the US dollar rose to 586,010 rials, the euro slightly fell to 637,166 rials. On the black market, rates remain significantly higher, with $1 trading near 921,000–924,000 rials.2

Gold prices in Pakistan showed slight reductions today. The rate of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs300, settling at Rs313,700. Internationally, gold prices fell by $4 per ounce, reaching $2,984. Experts attribute the changes to global economic uncertainties and inflation.3
