First Trust Income Opportunity ETF Price & Performance (FCEF)

First Trust Advisors has postponed the special meeting for the reorganization of its Specialty Finance and Financial Opportunities Fund into the FT Confluence BDC & Specialty Finance Income ETF. The adjourned meeting is now scheduled for May 5, 2025, allowing additional shareholder input before a final decision is made.1

First Trust Advisors has declared monthly distributions for several of its exchange-traded funds, including municipal bond, preferred securities, and multi-asset income ETFs. The ex-dividend and record date is April 22, 2025, with payments set for April 30. The firm currently manages about $258 billion in assets.2

The First Trust Income Opportunities ETF (FCEF) closed at $20.12 on April 21, down 1.42% for the day. Despite this decline, the fund maintains a dividend yield of 7.9% and holds $41 million in assets under management, continuing to focus on generating income through closed-end fund investments.3
