First Trust TCW Opportunistic Fixed Income ETF Price & Performance (FIXD)

First Trust Advisors has declared its latest distributions for several exchange-traded funds, with payouts scheduled for March 31, 2025. The funds include First Trust California Municipal High Income ETF offering $0.1290 per share and First Trust Managed Municipal ETF at $0.1400 per share, among others. Record date is March 27, 2025.12

First Trust Advisors announced plans to replace TCW Investment Management as sub-advisor for two ETFs, effective May 9, 2025. The new sub-advisory agreement with Smith Capital Investors aims to ensure uninterrupted services. Shareholders will vote on the agreement, with interim measures in place if approval is delayed.34

Institutional interest in the First Trust TCW Opportunistic Fixed Income ETF has seen notable changes. Bank of New York Mellon recently reduced its holdings by 19.7%, now owning 508,354 shares. Hedge funds, however, showed mixed trends, with some increasing their stakes while others reduced exposure.56
