Janus Henderson has announced a strategic shift for its Small Cap Growth Alpha ETF and Small/Mid Cap Growth Alpha ETF, transitioning them to actively managed strategies. The move, effective mid-May 2025, aims to generate alpha through systematic portfolio optimization and flexible rebalancing, aligning with their Mid Cap Growth Alpha ETF launched in 2024.12

Global ETF assets reached a record $15.5 trillion in February 2025, driven by substantial inflows of $61.67 billion into the top 20 ETFs. SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust led with $8.67 billion in net inflows. Equity ETFs remained dominant, reflecting strong investor interest despite market volatility.34
