The U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has requested to exit its 2022 lawsuit against MoneyGram, leaving New York State as the only plaintiff. The case, which alleges ongoing violations of federal remittance regulations, faces continued delays, but New York intends to proceed despite the federal agency’s withdrawal.7
