Franklin Templeton has introduced the Franklin Crypto Index ETF, providing exposure to bitcoin and ether price movements. The exchange-traded product tracks an index weighted heavily toward bitcoin, with a smaller allocation to ether. The ETF aims to expand its offerings by including other eligible digital assets in the future.1

Templeton Dragon Fund has unveiled a three-part strategy to address its discount to net asset value. The measures include a management fee reduction, a managed distribution plan offering quarterly payouts, and a share repurchase program. These efforts aim to enhance shareholder value amidst challenges in the Chinese equity market.2

Franklin Resources announced preliminary assets under management of $1.58 trillion as of February 28, 2025. Despite positive market impacts, $10 billion in long-term net outflows from Western Asset Management offset growth. Excluding this subsidiary, the company's net flows remained flat, highlighting ongoing challenges in asset retention.1
