TotalEnergies and Chevron have commenced oil and gas production at the Ballymore deepwater field in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The project, tied to existing infrastructure, adds nearly 30,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day to TotalEnergies, supporting its strategy of low-cost, low-emission hydrocarbon growth in 2025.123

TotalEnergies announced major investments to reconfigure its Antwerp platform, including a green hydrogen project using offshore wind power. The initiative, set for completion by end-2027, aims to cut CO2 emissions by up to 150,000 tons annually and aligns with European renewable energy targets for the transport sector.45

TotalEnergies has signed a 20-year agreement to purchase 1.5 million tonnes per year of LNG from NextDecade’s planned Train 4 at the Rio Grande facility. The deal, contingent on a final investment decision, strengthens TotalEnergies’ position as a leading global LNG player targeting a 50% gas sales mix by 2030.67
