Vanguard Investments Canada announced final March 2025 cash distributions for several ETFs traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Key funds include the Vanguard FTSE Canada Index ETF, with a per-unit distribution of $0.41, payable on March 28, 2025. Unitholders on record by March 21 will receive the payments.1

ETFGI reported that global ETF assets reached $15.5 trillion by February 2025, marking a new industry record. Significant inflows were led by the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, which gathered $8.67 billion. The milestone coincides with the 35th anniversary of the first ETF listing in Toronto.2

Two international Vanguard ETFs, FTSE Europe ETF and Total International Stock ETF, are outperforming the S&P 500 in 2025. The funds have seen returns of nearly 15% and over 8%, respectively, driven by strong European defense spending and emerging market growth.3
