# Comet이 Keychain/Credential Manager 접근을 요청하는 이유

> 브라우저는 이러한 보호된 시스템 보관소 안에 비밀번호를 저장하며, OS가 그 사이의 전달을 제어합니다.

다른 브라우저에서 비밀번호나 기타 데이터(북마크 및 방문 기록 등)를 가져올 때, 운영 체제가 보안 저장소에 대한 액세스 권한을 요청하는 메시지를 표시할 수 있습니다. macOS에서는 **Keychain Access**, Windows에서는 **Credential Manager**가 사용됩니다.

액세스를 허용하면 macOS 또는 Windows가 가져오기로 선택한 비밀번호를 **해독하고 전송**할 수 있습니다.

Comet 자체는 사용자의 보관소를 직접 보거나 저장하지 않습니다. 전송은 시스템 API를 통해 로컬에서 안전하게 이루어집니다.

**요청을 거부하는 경우:**

**간단히 말해:** 이 메시지는 Comet에서 표시하는 것이 아닙니다. 암호화된 자격 증명에 대한 액세스를 사용자 본인만 승인하도록 OS가 확인하는 것입니다.
