Understanding your subscription

Are there higher usage limits for Enterprise Pro?

No, usage limits (e.g., daily Pro Search and File Uploads) are the same for both Enterprise Pro and Perplexity Pro users. We do not offer increased rate limits or additional features beyond what has been outlined.

Will Enterprise Pro features work if I don’t pay for all seats?

No, all seats must be paid for to enable Enterprise Pro features.

Does my plan include API access for all users?

No, API usage is not included with Enterprise Pro. Users who need API access must purchase credits or top off their balance with a valid payment method. Note that administrators cannot manage API credits for other users, and API Organizations can be created.

Billing and invoicing

Do you offer educational or non-profit discounts?

Yes, please email us at enterprise@perplexity.ai to request a discount code after we validate your organization. Required documentation may include:

  • A certificate for non-profits

  • Proof of administrative authority within your educational institution

Note: Students cannot request this discount directly. An IT representative or department head must contact us.

Do you offer trials?

No, we do not offer trials for Enterprise Pro. For more information, please contact enterprise@perplexity.ai.

Tax-exempt status at checkout

To claim tax-exempt status, contact enterprise@perplexity.ai with proof of exemption, and we will send you an updated invoice reflecting this status.

Payment options and transfers

We accept transfers where available on the Perplexity Pro checkout page. If transfers are unavailable for your country, please contact us.

Please note we do not accept the payment methods:

  • Ca$happ

  • Paypal

  • Venmo

How can I download my invoice?

Only an admin or billing admin can download invoices from your organization’s settings page. Follow these steps to access your invoice:

  1. Scroll to the Billing section and click Subscription Management

  2. Scroll to the Invoice History section

  3. Click on the relevant charge

  4. Download the receipt or invoice

How do I change my subscription?

You can manage or update your subscription anytime through the Subscription Management portal on your settings page.

Handling accidental purchases or refunds

If you’ve made an accidental purchase or need help understanding any charges on your account, please email enterprise@perplexity.ai.

Cancelling seats

To cancel a seat, simply remove the user from your organization. Once removed, they will not be billed for the next cycle.

Please note we cannot adjust individual seats mid-cycle or process cancellations on specific dates.
