  1. In settings, scroll down to find “Subscription” in the Perplexity Pro section.

  2. Click “Manage Subscription,” which will redirect you to the current plan page.

  3. Scroll down to “Invoice History” and click the billing date of your choice.

  4. A new window will open with an option to download the invoice or receipt.

How can I update my billing information on the computer?

  1. Go to settings and scroll down to “Subscription” in the Perplexity Pro section.

  2. Click “Manage Subscription” to be redirected to the current plan page.

  3. Scroll to “Billing and Shipping Information” and click “+ Add payment method.”

How can I update my billing information on iOS?

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Tap your name.

  3. Tap “Payment & Shipping.” You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.

  4. To add a new payment method, tap “Add Payment Method.” Enter the new payment method details, then tap “Done.”

  5. To update an existing payment method, tap the payment method, then edit your information. You might need to enter the security code printed on your credit or debit card.

  6. To remove a payment method, tap “Edit,” tap the red delete button next to the old payment method, then tap “Delete.”

How can I update my billing information on Android?

  1. Open the Google Play app.

  2. Tap the profile icon at the top right.

  3. Tap “Payments & subscriptions,” then “Payment methods,” and then “More payment settings.”

  4. If prompted, sign in to Google Pay.

  5. Under the payment method you want to edit, tap “Edit.”

  6. Make changes and tap “Update.”

Subscription

How do I subscribe on the computer?

To subscribe, click “Learn More” under “Try Pro” on the left side menu or visit your settings page. Choose a subscription plan—monthly or yearly—and complete the payment process.

How do I subscribe on iOS?

Tap the settings icon located in the top left corner of the app. Tap Perplexity Pro → Learn More, and choose your plan.

How do I subscribe on Android?

Tap the settings icon located in the top left corner of the app. Tap “Perplexity Pro → Learn More” and choose your plan.

Can I pause my subscription?

You cannot pause your subscription. If you are unable to make a payment, you can cancel your subscription and restart it when convenient.

What happens if I don't renew my subscription?

If you don't renew your subscription, your account will revert to the free version after the current billing cycle ends, and you will no longer have access to Pro features.

How do I cancel my subscription on the computer?

Go to Settings and scroll down to find “Subscription” under Perplexity Pro. Click “Manage Subscription” to be redirected to the current plan page, then choose “Cancel plan.”

How do I cancel my subscription on iOS?

Open the App Store and tap the profile icon in upper right corner. Tap “Subscriptions,” then “Perplexity - Ask Anything.” Choose “Cancel subscription.”

How do I cancel my subscription on Android?

Open the Google Play App and tap the settings icon on the upper right corner. Tap “Payments & Subscriptions,” then “Perplexity - Ask Anything.” Choose “Cancel subscription” at the bottom of the screen.

If I delete my account, will it terminate my subscription?

No, deleting your account will not terminate your subscription. Please ensure you cancel your subscription before deleting your account.

Can I cancel my subscription any time?

Yes. Your account will be reverted back to the free version after the end of the current billing cycle.

Is it possible to reactivate my subscription after canceling?

Yes. To reactivate your subscription, go to Settings and scroll down to find “Subscription” under Perplexity Pro. Click “Manage Subscription,” which will redirect you to the current plan page. Click “Renew plan” or “Update plan” and complete payment.

I’ve cancelled my subscription, but I’m still being charged. What can I do?

Please double check you’ve cancelled your subscription by going to settings and clicking “Manage subscription.” Email us for further assistance.

Refunds

What is your refund policy?

Our refund policies vary based on subscription type, regional laws, and account status.

EU, UK, or Turkey customers

You are eligible for a refund if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. Please specify that you are applying for a refund from the EU, UK, or Turkey in your request.

All other customers:
  • Monthly subscriptions: You can request a refund up to 24 hours after the purchase date. Please include details on why you are requesting a refund.

  • Annual subscriptions: You are eligible for a full refund within 72 hours of the original purchase date and time. No exceptions for requests after this period.

How can I request a refund on the computer?

Visit perplexity.ai/pro and click “Manage Subscription.” Choose “Cancel Plan.” The option to request a refund will be available along with confirmation of cancellation.

If you do not see this option, contact us through Intercom in your settings or email us.

How can I request a refund on iOS?

Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in using the Apple ID associated with your App Store purchase. Navigate to your digital purchase history, and tap "Request a refund.”

How can I request a refund on Android?

To request a refund for an Android subscription, please email us or contact us through Intercom.

Forgot to unsubscribe

Refunds may be issued if the request follows the guidelines mentioned above.

Switching from annual to monthly subscription

Refunds are possible within the established time frame. You will need to start a new monthly subscription and pay the current amount.

Account termination

If your account is terminated for violating Perplexity's Terms of Use, you will not receive a refund for any remaining credit or prepaid service.
