Create a teammate

Available on Perplexity Max

Personal agents designed for work.

Start with what’s already in Computer. Your projects, skills, and memory carry over.

They work from your memory and the context of previous work. Ask one to take over a project or a recurring task.
They work with other teammates, and follow up with your coworkers in Slack.
Built on the same security and privacy infrastructure as Computer. Read more about agent security
Proactive by design, they run on automations and keep moving work forward on your behalf.

Agents that keep systems running

A dedicated thread for every teammate.

Every teammate you create lives next to your projects and history.
Each teammate keeps a single thread that never closes. Read what they’re doing, what they finished, and when.
Hand off work in plain language, just like a coworker. Ask for a status or change plans at any time.

On-call Engineer

Take my on-call shift tonight. When an alert fires, pull the logs and traces, find the root cause, and put up a PR with the fix and a rollback plan in the style of my last 20 merged PRs. Only page me if a fix needs approval or you can’t isolate the cause within 15 minutes.

On-call EngineerFinished 8s

Connected to the Datadog monitors and read your last 20 merged PRs for style. Alert routing is set for tonight and a rollback plan template is ready.

Watching monitors, 6pm to 8am ET. On call until 8am. I’ll only page you for approvals.

On-call EngineerFinished 41s

Alert at 11:42. 502s from billing-api after the 11:30 deploy. Root cause: the retry budget was dropped to zero in the new config.

Opened fix: retry on 502 from billing-api with a rollback plan attached. It needs your approval before it ships.

Can you take the Friday deploy as well? Page me only if something needs approval.

On-call EngineerFinished 12s

On it. I’ll take the Friday deploy and page you only if something needs approval.

Run our holiday campaigns. Keep spend inside the caps, pause what underperforms, and send me anything that needs a decision.

Every corner of the shop has a teammate.

A team of one, staffed like a team of four.

Sales

What it takes off your plateFinds new sales opportunities in customer inquiries, past purchases and unfinished conversations. Prepares outreach and quotes, then follows through on replies.

When it acts on its ownA regular customer goes quiet: it checks past orders, emails and support issues to understand why. It prepares a relevant offer for approval, or asks the team to resolve a problem before reaching out.

Ops

What it takes off your plateKeeps deadlines, checklists, vendors and paperwork on track for every project.

When it acts on its ownA deadline is 72 hours away and items are still missing: it chases them.

Marketing manager

What it takes off your plateRuns your social posts, email, ads, SEO and review replies. Writes a weekly creative brief, makes new ads from what’s working and checks competitors’ prices and promotions every week.

When it acts on its ownAn ad or campaign starts doing worse: it drafts a fix before you notice. A competitor drops a price or starts a sale on a product you sell: it tells you what changed and suggests a response.

Finance

What it takes off your plateKeeps invoices, collections and job margins up to date.

When it acts on its ownAn invoice passes 15d, 30d or 45d overdue: it drafts the reminder.

자주 묻는 질문

Teammates are a team of AI agents that own ongoing work. Give a teammate a responsibility, such as managing a growth campaign, triaging incoming bug reports, tracking your metrics, or researching a new market, and it owns that work around the clock. It plans the tasks, brings in more agents when the work grows, and follows through until the result is ready for your review.
